So I was looking at placing an order tonight, and I came across nylon kitty string.
Now, this got me pretty excited. I love nylon string. I make my own all the time. By far the best thing about nylon string is that it lasts for days and days of solid play if you wash it every so often.
However, seeing how cheap the nylon strings are makes me a little skeptical. Do these nylon strings last as long as other nylon strings do?
If you have any experience with them, your opinion would be much appreciated.
I’ve had a piece on my Werrd Hour for about 2 weeks now, and I rinsed it once, still playing well. I think it’s a little softer than other nylons, so I can’t say for sure that it’s 100% Nylon.
I like it a lot more than other nylon brands I’ve tried and it definitely lasts longer than poly.
While I am not a fan of nylon myself (I find it a bit too rough on me) the Kitty string nylon is the softest I have tried. I definitely lasts longer than poly though.
