My Dark Magic II won’t unscrew. When I try to untwist it, it just keeps going so I’m fairly sure something is wrong with the axle. I’m thinking that the hole on the DM2 itself is stripped. I would have used the search function, but I wasn’t really sure what to put. Any ideas on what to do? Or do I have to buy a new one?
Ummm… just keep spinning it with one side of the yoyo facing the floor.
There isn’t anything you can do if the threads INSIDE the yoyo [where the axle goes] are stripped. I’m not sure if yye has warrenty information. But if they do, you can return the broken one and yoyojam will replace it for you. Just contact the yoyoexpert or yoyojam and maybe you can get a new one if it’s still under warrenty. If it is an axle problem, you just have to buy a new YYJ axle.

Who said the threads are stripped? Could be the insert.
Did you ever force the yoyo when your screwing it? You might have screwed it in funny. Might also be something caught in the screw and socket. Does it affect the playing?
Contact YYE and if you send it to them, they can fix it. Also YYJ could help.
