I ordered a 10 pack off Amazon. Said Zeekio nylon strings. This is my first time trying nylon but I was under the impression that nylon was supposed to be bouncy and stretchy. This stuff literally did not stretch AT ALL. When I tried to pre stretch it felt like I was pulling on two ends of a cable. And it is THICK. Noticeably thicker than this kitty XXL I have. And when you throw it you can feel the lack of bounce in the string. It jerks the hand a bit. Here is a pic of it next to the kitty xxl

Nylon feels very smooth and silky. Polyester has a rougher feel. That’s some pretty thick string you got.

I’ve never tried that string but to explain…
There’s different types of Nylon just like there’s different types of Poly.
When people think of bouncy and fluffy, it’s Wooly Nylon specifically and even within that there’s extreme differences that vary between brands or types.
Outside of wooly nylon is standard nylon, which is probably what is being used for the string you got.
