I bought a Duncan mosquito just for the fun of modding something and it seems that no mater what i do i cant quiet the bearing. any ideas? later.
Hm, maybe you could try lubing or cleaning then lubing it?

Mosquitoes, from my experience, can spin from 30 seconds +
its actually a 5 dollar yoyo i bought it at the local wal-mart. when i got it i timed it at 13 seconds with nothing done to it. now iv added some wight rings i made out of bailing wire and took one friction sticker off and shaved the other one down a bit. ill try to get some pics in i guess. spins for 45 seconds for my top spin time. guess its hardly anything iv seen one spin for 5 minutes on youtube.
Well, the one on YT was heavily modded. But, the spin time should eb good enough, for a $5 dollar yoyo. I guess at 1st, it wasn’t spinning that much, because the bearing wasn’t broken in. Good luck!

took of the shields and there was some kind of plastic thing in there. don’t know how it got in there. later and keep it spinning.
