So i haven’t been on forums a lot lately and even got my regular badge removed from me
thats cus of summer, since i am busy(with summer stuff
but the real talk is this:
Nats: Awesome
Worlds: Amazing
@Des: Traded me a yoyo nobody knew about
My Uncle: Incredible
The thing my uncle told me to do in a call: Not so great-
and what I’m talking about is moving the string up my finger more
u see, when i first started yoyo, the string was at the very bottom of my middle finger, so that way it would be very sturdy and it didn’t “hurt” as much
my uncle told me to do this over a practice call we had a while ago, telling me to start doing it after nats
well, i forgot and im doing it now
idk y people has the string on the middle of their middle finger, maybe cus its ironic, but it feels like it can slip at any moment, even tho i have a very tight slip knot, and that’s cus IT DID slip during tricks. it didn’t completely come off, it just changed directions, or something…
its rlly hard to adjust to this new type of yoyoing, so if anyone has tips or why we do this, pls say so, i need it

The new slipknot position will just be a bit less secure and feel flimsy until you break in fresh calluses. The same thing happened to me when I started and then again when I started 3a lol nothing to worry about like it is annoying but it’ll go away eventually.

I remember it took like 2-3 years before the callous on my middle finger finally settled in and stopped cracking/bleeding. Now there’s a comfy groove for the string to sit in.
