So many great oldish yoyos! I feel they have more character then these new, almost robotic yoyos.
are you looking for a plastic, or are you just looking for a solid $20 throw?
True! If just $20, the Bst could be a great way to go!
I’ve always loved the protostar, nothing wrong with it, IMO. I’ve owned several.
Mine were both from the first run in 09, maybe the quality has been improved? 
They broke so easily.

I like both. I own a protostar, and as people pointed out it is an older design. But you have to admit it’s aged well. Skyva does feel more solid instead of hollow plasticy. I was very strict about having the Skyva made with as little parts as possible, which is why people think it feels more premium (compared to the feeling of a yoyo with more parts such as FHZ, old YYJ ect.)

A $20-$30 throw. But I’ve had an eye on these 2 in particular.
I would highly recommend checking out the Bst then. There are a bunch of yoyos in that price range on there 
I have, I don’t see much I am interested in.
What about the kilter 2; that’s $30 I believe…
I mean, you could always get both.
