When I was picking out my first 4a, I made a spreadsheet to compare my options. On the top row I had the yoyos -I think a Bigyo, GoBig, Fiesta, Eiquenox, and ReExtreme- and on the left side I had categories for;
Diameter
Width
Weight
Material
Bearing
Shape (H,V,O,Straight, etc; not as useful for 4a, but useful for comparing 1a’s)
Response
Cost
Producer
Gimmick (hubstacks, side-effects, etc; I included this if I ever used the same thing for 1a’s)
Review excerpts
In the end, I went with the YYJ Go Big.
Even if it’s very simple, an automated system to compare these would be very useful.
Heck, if I lived in Easthampton I’d gladly come to YYE and spend a day collecting data about their yoyos to make a database.
