I need help with getting my strings landing solid,does anyone have any pointers on how to be more solid???

What do you mean by solid string? Do you mean that the yoyo can’t stay solid on the string like a trapeze?
On tricks where you have to land the yo-yo on the string, you really need to get your finger as close to the yo-yo as possible. Also, it helps if you have the string completely level.
Can you be more specific? All string tricks are sensitive to string tension. Perhaps you need to make sure your sting is not too tight or loose. Lots of videos out there on string tension…
