I was moved to read the beautiful story of your yoyo.
It is incredible to see how objects can become repositories of our dearest and deepest feelings.
How they manage to become much more than they might seem.
How they manage to guide us towards the knowledge of special people … people like you!
Thanks for your story!

wow! the Handquake … the first bi-metal in history! (I also think of Hicoo Inca, years later but always a bi-metal in unsuspected times!)
Returning to the Handquake … the last model of the series made has remained a prototype, only 3 pieces never produced, carbon fiber body, brass rings protected by o-rings and we were in 1999 … too much stuff !!!

P.S. of black Pyro seems to have been made of 40 pieces

various yoyos that I have, have interesting stories behind them but certainly the one I’m most fond of is a YYF Paolista pink … given to me by a dear friend.
My big dream that will never come true ??? he!

The guys at Hspin were excellent to deal with. I remember one release came in a pair of socks lol. I still have a Gorylla. I love it, smooth as butter. Great story bud.

they were the yoyos of the Core series, the one that came with socks as a package (say the cheaper models, however always excellent yoyo)
