I just got my first YoYo and within the first hr, the string snapped. I thought this was a coincidence so i put on a new one and that also broke in an hr!
Any way i can fix this?

What string are you using? On what yoyo(s)?
i am using a soft string, most likely cotton 1 just broke right as i put it on
Cotton is the most likely to break, but breaking while you put it on is unusual. Do you happen to know what brand it is? Also, what yoyo are you using it on?
im using a magic yoyo V12 and i dont know the string brand
the string came with it
Perhaps there is a burr or manufacturing defect at the pad seat. Are you opening the string up to slide over the complete YoYo, or are you opening the YoYo to put over the bearing and screw ing the YoYo back shut? Was it extremely responsive?
i did it over and took it apart and they kept breaking, i am uising unresposnive
do u also know why my bearings are making a noise when it spins?
Like SlowThrow said, feel around where the bearing is and make sure the surface of the yoyo feels smooth.
Would it be possible for you to take a video of putting the string on and giving it a throw? Sorry for asking so many questions. Since it seems like you’re newer to the hobby, there are just a lot of variables for both the string and bearing situation.
