I was playing with my TFL and I was going to do a plastic whip and as soon as I pulled it up it shot back to my hands causing a huge bruise. The next day I went to play it I did a sleeper and I tugged it and shot right back to my hand again. I need to know whats wrong with my TFL.
unscrew it. look at the response. is the silicone, or pad, or whatever it uses, in anyway shredded or broken or something? in one of my yoyos, a small chunk of the response stuck out after it got shredded.
if that isn’t the problem, check the bearings. spin the bearings. it should spin for at least 5 seconds. if it doesn’t do this, then it is just breaking in. continue using it. if when you spin it, it feels rough sometimes, like at a certain point in the rotation, than the bearing may be broken. before doing anything, take out the problem bearing, check the bearing seat for any dirt or silicone, and blow compressed air through the after removing the shields to make sure no dirt got stuck inside.

Thanks I cleaned the bearing and it plays smooth now
