Not bad at all. My son will be 2 on the 31st and he just walks (drags) the dog. He also only likes full length string which is like three times his height but if you trim the string he knows, and flips out.
He has destroyed a throw monkey, Freehand 2, and 2 speed beetles.

that’s quite the resume. I’ve probably killed like 3-4 metal ones. Concrete is not my friend.

That’s a good start! My five year old has only mastered around the world, and only without the yo-yo actually rotating.
