ok first of all it’s new yoyo day!!! I got a yellow atmosphere from yoyo nation…it’s a beast…just in case you were wondering.
When i opened it up after i got it out of the package i saw black rings and thought i got screwd…but no i did not. for some reason the scilicone stickers are black! i’m not sure if this is a yyn thing or if yyj changed their pads?
I think its just O-Rings, also YYN does not open the package in any way. And I never knew YYJ used pads, so maybe like you said black silicone or O-Rings.
i dont think its o-rings, these are flat and feel more flexible.

i just got the same yoyo yesterday and i though the same thing when i opend it up to put in diffrent sting, it didnt look like a O-ring at all.
as far as getting more im 99% sure all they did was pour a scilicon based gasket material into a grove and let it dry inthe yoyo. you can get the stuff from any home depot or hardware store.
i just e-mailed andre and he said yyj switched to a black silicone pad
is the “pad” just a stick with scilicone on one side?
