i just apllied flowable silicone to my DV888 and it is my first try ever. i don’t have pictures yet (if i have them on my desktop, could i just drag it into the text box like in microsoft word?) what i did was aply it so it went above the grove, then padded it down with a guitar pic, then smoothed it out with said pic. it looks better than some first time silijobs i have seen, but it has yet to dry. it looks really good but i have some silicone leak over the side into the bearing seat and down the side of the yoyo. i plan to let it dry and then scrape off the access silicone and hopefully it will play nice. i will update this post soon. Any tips or tricks for applying better or more evenly or less messy…ly?
With flowable silicone, you don’t need any utensils. All you need to do is apply it to where it is just barely touching the surface edge of the recess. This will give it the concave results you need.
The picture has to be on the internet. To do that you will have to upload it to an image hosting website. Imgur.com is a quick one. Then right click on the picture on the website and click “Copy Image Location”. Then paste that between image tags like this:

Or… Click additional options when you’re about to post something or maybe if you modify your post too. There is a box there for uploading the pictures.
