You said it would be a sentimental piece, so it should be the velocity because it can be responsive and unresponsive.
How would response make it sentimental?

Cliff is too unconventional to be your only yoyo.
Because then you could do all of the styles of yo-yoing.
I still have tons of old(er) responsive yoyos i.e Bumblebees, ProYos, Customs, BMT Monarch, two SB2s, SB1, Viper, Technics, Cherry Bombs… I don’t even know what all I have. I don’t consider those as my “collection”. They are, and always have been, just there.

Seriously, just get a Cliff in the coolest colorway you can find. There are still some Ninja Hurdles Cliffs in stock here!
Or, get a BvM2. But actually, get a Cliff, because this thing is so fun.
I would get a Cliff but I’m not spending $150 for one.

Do you know what sentimental means? Sentimental is not the correct word. What you’re thinking of is versatile.

Try and find a Cliff on the BST! It’s worth it, I promise. Unless you want a brand new throw.
The Cliff is a great yoyo, but it feels so weird and a little uncomfortable on the hand, if I had to pick only 1 yoyo for the rest of the foreseeable future, I wouldn’t pick the Cliff, as much as I love it.
Again, find a yoyo you found sentimental.
That is my recommendation.
Also, the Aurora Borealis Glide looks 100% stunning…
