My boss hates to flop!!

So i gots a boss, and I am learning some flop tricks. I have to say my boss hates to flop!
I pull it and it kind of flops half way then either stops or turns back.
Has anyone had this problem with the boss, or either when they are first starting?
I do not want to “blame” the yo-yo, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem.
Thanks!

In all honesty, I don’t think it is entirely due to the yoyo. I had the exact same problem with my Dif-e-yo Wide Sport, but after a bit of practice on different yoyos, I was able to do it on the WS. Try it out see what comes of it. What really helped me was learning that the point it to (obviously pull firmly) but keep the string off of the sides of the yoyo. Hope that helps!

Thanks! i will definitely focus on that, I am learning Mexican Duck Pond.

Anytime. Good luck with the new trick! ;D

If you are right handed, you have to use your left hand to lead the yoyo, and “convince” it to flop.

Like kind of Tilt my left hand in the direction i wish to flop it?

Yeah… One, pay attention and keep your string off the response… and then kinda tilt your left hand forwards…

Its not all just pulling, you have quite a bit of control. Mess around with it and see what works for your yoyo.

I think the Boss will do pretty good on flops because it has the enormous gap. But while flopping, try to always look at the gap of the yoyo so you see what’s going on and so that you know what direction your arms are supposed to go.

I got it down, thanks guys!
