Workin on kwyjibo. First two elements I’ve got down kinda ok. The third element where you pop into the double or nothing is messing with me. When im pushing my nth to the left to catch the yoyo I’ve got more than the one loop on mt nth finger and i butcher the spin. Do i drop the loop on it before trying to catch the double?
For me it was a matter of repetition. I had the exact same issue with this trick. Pop up that last time slowly, and dead center in front of you. Shift your hands ever so slightly forward after the yoyo moves into the air. You’ll feel it out after a few attempts. I too hate hearing “you have to feel” it. But is almost always true.just do it a whole whole lot!
@Fancy-0 is correct, I used to have the same problem as well and then it just kind of stopped happening, practice makes perfect as they say
Ok dope ty
I’m finding it very interesting how much of this boils down to doing something that feels awkward af over and over til that one time you hit it and go “oooohhhh ok that’s how that feels!”
For real! It’s weird like that, or sometimes I won’t be able to hit a trick so I go learn a different one and then when I go back and try the first one it just makes sense and I can do it, I kind of think of it like learning to play an instrument by ear
Before that hop, the mount you’re in is the same as if you go into 1.5 and cross nth over th. Eli hop the Yoyo up and uncross while keeping nth index straight and pass into and intercepting the string. You’re going to spread the hands apart while they are crossed to Eli hop before uncrossing so it has a funny push pull feel. Make sure you pass nth index through the string and pull it into DoN. You want to feel tension like with an eli hop the entire time like don’t do a soft and saggy hop where slack develops, the string should stay taught and straight. You can set the string back on nth using the thumb like in this video to make sure you have the space to land and don’t land on multiple strings.
Ok tks that spread helps, i almost landed it. Hopefully a few more times and I’ll start hitting it!
I did it, HOORAY!! Now to work that consistency. Thanks for the tips gang
