i can def record if necessary, but anyone got any general tips? i can hit it. I’ve done it, just really inconsistent and the triangle is small when i hit it. i feel like I’m flailing and gonna throw my shoulder out lol so i know there’s more i can do to replace raw power with finesse. tia
For me it was just a lot of practice until I understood exactly what I was doing - not just in theory but it felt like I could really see when to move my TH forward to make the string fold correctly.
Otherwise it feels like the regular tips. Hop it to a consistent height just about where your TH is. Then push your TH forward so the string passes right above the yoyo. Do it enough times until it’s not just a motion that gets the correct result but something you’re really tracking and controlling.
Make sure your non throwhand and throwhand are close together since it helps make the slack and the triangle bigger
Imagine making a circle with your throw hand. Once you make a full circle move your hand in s continuous outward motion away from you. Make it excessive at first. It is like shifting gears in a manual car. Also while you do that, imagine that your hand makes a movement from 3 o clock to 12 o clock while being positioned side ways. (Like this “/”).
The last trick here George Koutsostathis on Instagram: "■■■■■■■■■■■ #trickcircle @yoyoexpert@amorphisband#amorphisband#yoyos #todaythrow #yoyoexpert"
is called Lord of the flies. The last part is a brent stole. You can clearly see what I am talking about… I think…
Tell him to give them back, or report him to the police.
tks for the tips gang, and the laugh. i think i need to finesse my slack formation better. i can see it but it’s not very open
Whip from further behind like when you whip, you whip behind the plane of the yoyo. The U shape of string appears from your hand to the yoyo. If you start whipping even closer to yourself than the yoyo, the U will be more open. Then intercept and push forward w th.
With a lot of whips I had trouble because I was just not doing it hard enough
