I live very far away from home but my mom got 2 mother’s day, the UK one and the Italian one (which is aligned with the rest of the world).
Sadly all I can do is call her for longer than usual and just pass time at the phone talking but I never miss it, also I call my parents every night while I make dinner at least to talk 30 minutes with them daily.

Than when I visit Italy, I assure to go out with lunch/dinner with them and have a long walk with them, possibly visiting some part of their hometown.

Ngl I love my parents, they great!

Glad yall reminded me! This month is a budget crusher cuz its also my GFs birthday lol.

I wonder if my mom would appreciate this shirt coming from her 34 year old son :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth::laughing:.

Been married to my wife for 21 years, and we have 4 kids together.

The kids and I will make her breakfast, probably take her on a hike, and then we’ll go out to dinner.

Basically, the day is hers to relax and hopefully get some quiet! (very rare in our house)

I also snagged her some gifts I know she’d like, because she never spends frivolously on herself.

I used to always just get flowers or a card, but a couple years ago I switched things up and got my mom a really nice bag she could use every day. She actually uses it constantly, and she still brings it up whenever we talk. Way better than the flowers that wilt in a week))

For those on budget but want to get a quality gift, I’d recommend looking to Coach. Study their models + pricings and reviews here - https://coach-bags.co.uk/.

We’re going to be picking up some blueberry bushes and planting them in our backyard

I’d say I was planning to let her read her book all she wanted but she only has like handful of pages left, and she will likely finish it tonight, so either way, I’ll be doing my best to keep our son out of her hair for the day

Well, I think we’ll start by having her make us a big breakfast.

Then, after that, she’ll take us out to the museum, and then to a baseball game.

And then, she’ll take us to get cookies and ice cream.

By the end of the day, she’ll really know she’s a mother. :joy:

In all seriousness, though, I’m something of a dilettante artist—maybe I’ll make something she’d like looking at.
