Most expensive yoyo that you slammed off something and is now VIBEY!

Last night I slammed my gryfalcon on the floor and completely went from a smooth throw to noticeable vibe. The pain is still here and I’ve been throwing it more just to try to make myself feel better, but with no avail. This throw cost me a little over 400$. What’s the most expensive throw that anyone has slammed on something and ruined?!?

Maybe replace the Axel and Bearing?

You have been the second person to tell me that. I think I might actually try that. Can’t hurt because the yoyo doesn’t seem like anything moved or shifted. I know it’s hard to tell but I might as well try I guess…

It looks like that’s a bimetal. If the axle/bearing doesn’t help, I’d inspect the rings closely and make sure they’re pressed all the way.

I once slammed my 5th anniversary draupnir on the wooden floor, didn’t cause any vibe and the mark somehow disappeared after a few days (∩❛ڡ❛∩)

That’s what I was gonna say.

Take it apart and step on it. Press them rims back in. I bet that’s what’s causing the vibe.

Yeah replace the axle and whack it good with a rubber mallet and one of those alignment tools they sell here on YYE. They’re like $8 or something. I thought i ruined my diver but axle and ring align fixed it
