Morning Run

Swimming is awesome, and it was my best leg of triathlon rank-wise. But it’s such a pain to drive to the pool when I can just stumble outside for a morning run instead. If I ever again live where I can walk to the pool, I would definitely get back into it. I need very low “activation energy” to make myself exercise, even though I actually enjoy it and feel so much better mentally and physically.

I used to be a sprinter. 50 free, 100 back, and the matching relays.

I’m trying to do more distance and open water. I did 2x one milers last summer.

Yeah, miss me with that lol, y’all have fun.

I prefer biking, weight lifting, yoga, skateboarding when I’m feeling frisky, but I am not built to run. I can sprint like a MF, or at least used to be able to lol

Dude that’s so sick! My mom also is in a masters swim team and she swims 3 or 4 days a week. Seems like a really cool thing to be apart of.

My team has practices 3x per week and I skip one because it’s one of my in office work days. I would prefer to go more. It’s a lot of fun and I have a great and very supportive team.

Not a morning run, an evening run slow improvement. Todays goal go out reasonable push the middle reasonable finish… it worked out well for this stage if training.

Everyone have a great start to the week
