Happy I know this one. I will post a video and go back to working on some of the tricks I’m still learning…

Pretty much almost got this week’s down. I wasn’t going to bother trying because I don’t care for picture tricks but glad I did now!
I’m pretty sure it’s a Luminator, IIRC. They used to use them for almost all their tutorials, and they sold them and a bunch of mods for them.
I throughly enjoyed this trick.
Awesome pick @twitch77.
I am going to add this in often to my tricks it’s my first proper tower after the standard Eiffel Tower one and I love it.
Going to work on getting this nice and smooth so it can fall in between tricks for combos
Thanks bro.
I was talking to @JustAnotherYoYoEr (Gemma) earlier and got inspired to try and melt it into this weeks challenge.
She’s going to work on another trick soon so watch this space!
haha everyone’s getting this one down so quickly. I haven’t practiced today…but I hit it myself last night.
Do you feel like this one was too easy for this challenge?
I’m still trying to figure out which tricks to pick as we move forward. A couple of the tricks I’ve picked in the past were simply too much for me and dang near burnt me out…so I’m hoping not to do that again (though…I think I almost did it again this week! I almost picked a trick that is very likely too much for me at this time!).
No I like it. It’s far from finished yet and you k ow I want a trick I can digest instead of doing tricks that takes weeks every week.
And it really only speaks well for this challenge as a whole.
If we didn’t do Mexican duck puddle I will still be crying on here about chopsticks.
I vaguely remember in week 2 I was posting videos even until Friday crying about not being able to chopstick.
Oh! This is exciting! I can’t wait to find out more! She did an awesome job on the Smoothie Tutorial!
Man I absolutely agree with this!
I think it’s great to work on tricks that are out of our range and comfort zones once in awhile…as long as they’re not TOO far out of our reach…
But it’s become such a grind and a bit of a soul crusher to constantly work on tricks that are super difficult and that I’m unable to complete in a week for this challenge.
It’s nice to have some that I can actually do once in awhile! haha
It’s great to see your skill level increase and see improvements looking back.
But sometimes you just want that instant (was not so instant I promise you this lol) gratification and to begin adding to your repertoire, not just your to do list sometimes.
Bravo!
I’m very excited for another trick from @JustAnotherYoYoEr - I find that I use elements of smoothie just about every time I try to put a combo together.
I love the 2 undercuts into the double or nothing! What a fun flashy way to get into a double!!
edit
haha oops! Was totally thinking of momentum bind! >.<’ was just working on that trick a few minutes ago so it’s on my mind!
I love smoothie and momentum bind! Smoothie i found easier to work into everything… momentum bind i need consistency.
Full disclosure i learned chopstick tower a few months ago sp i’l try to get a video asap
Edit… i learned a few pic tricks about 7 months ago (yoyo was a Bday gift) …i got one in video with my Conspiracy 55sec to do a basic hop tower trick, and i couldn’t nail the chopstick consistently enough to attempt a video. This 50 sec video only took one hour of practice, not totally smoothe but not bad. Tried to work smoothee and Momentum bind into it.
Great job on the momentum bind finish
Nice job!
this week’s trick was the first proper figure trick I learnt when I started. So this week I’m experimenting some variations on this tower, like the one on this video below. The first part is a workaround to get to the chopstick, then pretty randomly I found 2 more tower tossing the yoyo around.
As @twitch77 requested, kitty is in the shoot if you can spot her.
Then, another variation I want to show you guys. This is from the great Coleslaw_joe on instagram.
It is a undermount chopstick tower in the hand
Fantastic! I need to learn more towers!
