That’s going to happen a lot as you get into more complex tricks. As you practice it more it’ll get better, and I personally like to practice the most choppy elements of a new trick by themselves when I can.

Man it’s midnight here and I just got home half an hour ago from work.

Arghhhhhhh why why why does my Kamikaze mount hit the top string but reject the string it was originally on everytime I let go of my thumb? T_T
What am I doing wrong guys?
(Luck would have it the first time I land it, it’s on camera asking for help on why can’t I land it lol)

That mount’s a pain, but what works for me is to keep pulling my hands apart after the pop into the top string. It kinda pulls everything into the gap. Then you can relax and sag into the mount.

Trying to have a sensation of snapping close sharply helped

Pop it towards your throw hand rather than up.

Now I need to figure out how to land on the back string only. Man each step is not easy but it feels like it’s good training in general

I just wish I could find the tutorial that fixed my issues with magic drop. Aside from consistency, but that’s a whole other kettle of fish.
