Looks hard, I suck at chopsticks

Here’s a tutorial on the Thumb Mount chopstick trick:

The OG tutorial for this was such a revelation for me back when i started. It’s way more charming too.

Yeah…this one’s going to be a challenge for me big time! I was trying to do the Thumb Mount a couple of days ago, and though I was starting to get it…it was very hard.

I’m going to try to make it a little easier on myself and use a smaller diameter yo (my Duncan Exit 8) for this one.

If I can pull this trick off eventually…I’ll be so thrilled!

Man!

Week #4 looks hard!

haha I hope this one doesn’t turn out to be too hard for us to take on. I think it’ll be good to push ourselves though!
Last week (Superflow) was super difficult for me too! But I’ve enjoyed working on it despite it being really frustrating for me!

I’ll keep working at superflow. Plan on working on it each day just like I do with Kamikaze.

I say bring on the challenge! (It’s in the name )

Man I am so glad I decided run this program together with you instead of going solo.

I love how you pick these cool looking tricks that I haven’t even heard of and wouldn’t have known where to find.

I think our pairing hits the mission statement on the head by learning varied tricks every week that’s a bit different each week.

I feel like you pick amazing tricks and also those are all tricks that I wouldn’t have but eager to learn.

I think I’m still very much in that classic beginner must learn tricks mindset and continue picking those. And you come up with cool tricks that adds so much character to my skill set.

I think we have the perfect combo here you and I.

Please keep picking these kind of tricks. I think this is just what this challenge needs to break things up. I’ll keep adding my style of picks also and it’s the perfect balance.

YES!

This is the attitude I love to see! haha

I love this Trick-A-Week you started because I’m so pumped for the challenge of it all!
I haven’t been pushing myself hardly at all over the past months while trying to do things on my own.
This Trick-A-Week has changed all of that…I’m pushing myself WAY harder than I would be doing solo…and I love that.
I’m so up for the challenges! This is exactly what I needed! Exactly what I’ve been wanting!
Even though things get really frustrating (Superflow! /grrrrr)…I’m having a blast working on these things each day!

Love this Trick-A-Week!

Challenge accepted!
lol

Oh man. I became frustrated with Chop Sticks; it’s hard having smaller hands like I do. This one is gonna be hard.

Yeah, this one seems unfair to anyone with smaller hands :frowning:

Haha the Alta is a bit on the smaller side and I’ve honestly not put it down since I got it; guess it’s time to make use of it

Gives me a perfect excuse to use it

Lmao you shouldn’t need an excuse!

I have big hands but I have trouble with the string slipping towards the base of my finger.

Have only had a couple of minutes with it so far…but I’m having a hard time opening up my fingers enough for the yo to land through atm.

I haven’t tried the trick yet, but that’s pretty much my experience with chopsticks

Needed to vent my frustration today.

A short clip of practice session today lunch break at work.

BOOM! Nice man.

I was short on joy and then there were too many people wondering around the office kitchen area.
So I moved locations and carried on doing a longer random practice session to vent.

Not even sure what I’m trying to go for here just chucking random things at it to see what sticks.
