How do I make my deeper state more responsive? I have a slim C bearing but I’m afraid to strip the axel since it’s a lot smaller than the regular bearing. Do I just need Yoyo lube?

Yes. Thick lube, grease, Vaseline etc.

A narrow bearing will work with the stock axle. Typically issues with stripping only occur when switching to a shorter axle that does not engage all of the threads. But also shims are needed with the narrow bearing because without them the gap gets way too narrow and play becomes intolerably responsive. So…if that is outside of what you are comfortable with. The bearing can be lubed. A thicker oil (ie. Motor oil) or a grease can be used. Please feel free to ask for further assistance.

I would avoid using food based lubricants as they all go rancid over time. Something silicone or petroleum based is optimal.

It’s just lubed with grease in a way that responds very nicely. (Grease responds differently than oil) Nothing special It’s just an ordinary bearing. But I promise you’ll like the way it responds. As far as a review…I just meant more along the lines of…do you like it?
