so i have a team losi silver series cherry bomb and i was wondering if there might be any good ways to mod it for 1A play.

you could also sand down the starburts recessed it and put flowable silicone or hot glue as the response
It can be done but I would need to see better gut pics.
The simplest mod for cherry bombs (I’ve modded tons of these lately) is to remove the starburst and do a silicone groove, or recessed sticker.
Keep in mind the plastic is actually rather soft and prone to cracking, so be careful.
