Mk1 Yoyos & Lord of the Rings

I wish there was the green fade color in the umbras, was such a nice color!

I wish someone would half swap with me.

That would have been my next choice after the pink/purple. Jack picked the blue colorway and I didn’t feel like risking such a big order to include a 3rd color for that run.

that isn’t the Converge, is it?

No, the Converge is a large outer-ring bimetal that is a collaboration between Mk1 and OPYOYOS, see Jordan’s photo above.

It will be a top performing yoyo for sure, but it’s my least favourite design of yours.

Definitely puts it on my short list :eyes:

I this design

No doubt. It serves a need that my team has - without any Diffractions left all I have is Umbras, and they’re prettttty wide for dense tricks unless you use a colossally long string like Jack does. Converge may delay the need a bit but it’s a very different design from this one, including a pretty big diameter and outer rings that can make chopsticks tricky. Speaking of which I should write up the design process for this one so I can use it later.

Here’s a cool tower Jack posted last week.

Word is I’ll have team edition Converges soon. The main batch has some other bits they need before they get tested though.

How have you all been enjoying your Umbras?
