MB's Powder Thread! Come & see the power of powder!

#1328

So good of a finish, it had me wondering if it was a plastic or a metal because of the shiny finish. Good Job.

#1329

It has a super premium clear coat over it. Makes the color “pop”.

#1330

YYM Trap powder coated…
What can I say???

#1331

Holy crap…

#1332

Kind of like a car crash!

Just have to look but not always sure what your seeing.

(UmeNagisa) #1333

WOAHHHHHHHH

#1334

Trap in motion…

(UmeNagisa) #1335

EXTREMEEEELY JEALOUS.
THAT IS SO SEXY BEYOND BELIEF

#1336

Thank you. Calling it the “Spring Fling” colorway…

(UmeNagisa) #1337

That is the perfect name for it.
Seriously, If I wasn’t already poor.
I’d just send you the rest of my collection bahahha

#1338

Why don’t your powder the bearing seat? Or does it chip?

(UmeNagisa) #1339

It adds a layer over it, and then the bearing won’t sit on the bearing sit anymore.
anno is much thinner, so it’s fine.
But powder adds a much thicker layer

#1340

YYM Trap multi color powder coat…
For auction all proceeds going to Evan Evans!

#1341

Powder coated plastic yoyo…
Just a tester but it works!

#1342

Everything looks clean

But I think dying is more efficient

#1343

Not sure about that one.

This process is insanely quick and easy to do and can offer butt loads of options. Only need to work out a few little kinks.

#1344

I’m sure, but I bet this adds much weight

I bet if you perfect this method it could work nice

#1345

It will add weight no doubt.

How much would you say it will add? A guess is fine.

#1346

Um, I’m guessing 2 grams

#1347

Close. 1 to 1.5 average.

Hard to call that a lot even 2 grams is not much.

Most people have serious hang ups about weight addition. Even when they aren’t sure as to why.
