Swirl pattern prototype in powder coat…
Just did a black and white for the trial run. Need to work out a few kinks but the foundation is there.

That looks great! Looks sort of like Marble

This looks super cool, but like it might feel a little rough.

Just need to get the mix down a bit for the bath and maybe tweak the solution a little. Powder is like magic sand around liquids.

Looks amazing!

That actually looks very cool. To the eyes of someone else, it would literally look like granite.

Looks a lot like rock. The white and black are not the colors that the Hut will have on it but I needed something with a little contrast to see how things are working. The black and white got a little to over mixed from being in and out of it so there is just a bit too much gray now.

This swirl pattern has serious potential nice polished yoyo with a three or more color translucent swirl.

ooooh, that sounds awesome!

It does look fantastic, and it amazes me how hard you work on developing this stuff!

Thank you. I’ve been putting in some quality time in the R&D room.

Swirl pattern attempt number 2. Used a different catalyst on this one…

Nice. Not the best, once it’s cleaned up it will look better :).

I think this one looks better than the other one!

Thanks for your opinion.

Yes my feeling exactly. Flowed better and stayed cleaner during the application.

Won’t be long I’ll have it locked in. Right now just trying some different ways to apply it with solvents and additives that suspend the powder.

Would you ever be able to swirl a color with clear, to get a swirled color over a polished raw yoyo?

Yes. It can be applied to all powders once dialed in. Raw yoyo with a clear and colored powder swirl as an example.
