That al5 looks nice! A question, when you bead blast a yoyo, does some of the ano stay on, or does it come off?
It all comes off. If someone wants to leave the hub area and just blast the gap then that can be done as well.
You know the Polish splash and polish ano? Could you do a polish splash then blast it? A Blasted splash?

Walnut shell is typically used to prevent delicate materials from overheating and can be safely used on things such as sheet metal and fiberglass.
I do not understand what significance there is between bead blasting and soda blasting however. I understand that bead blasting is an abrasive blast which is strong enough to remove rust and the like. Soda blasting is intended for a light safer use to remove paint but will not remove rust. For yoyos perhaps, is there any real significance between the two for our purposes?
Just a different texture I suppose. Some variation in grind capabilities maybe. Not a big grinder myself so I can’t really comment on the differences effectively.

God knows I need to get something done for Wilson since I have had his crate of yoyo’s he sent me I have basically unwrapped them but that’s it. 
He’s really not bothered! He actually feels bad for unloading so many yoyos on you at once. He’s a very understanding guy! But I’m sure you already know that

I had unwrapped them and started thinking about what they would look good in but that’s as far as I got.
I have had so much going on with my house and a recent auto accident that it has been a real mess for me.
