MagicYoyo Opinion

Heard great things about quite a few of their models. A lot of people in yoyo think that things being more expensive automatically makes them better. Sometimes a good value is just a good value :person_shrugging:

Yes. It means that just like Yoyofriends parent company FPM they also take production orders from others and produce yoyos with other brandnames on them.

Offset has used them a lot

I keep a MYY N8 on my desk as a good non-responsive. I like it’s smaller size and shape. It plays well and I don’t have to worry about it.

I just ordered my third half-price V8 yesterday

I probably won’t use it but it will be good for sharing with others.

Nice heads up I might snag one. I’m thinking of doing a most loops contest at yoyo club this weekend and bring my looper collection and see what kid walks away with a v8

Surprisingly good yoyo!

Mine was a touch too responsive when i got it but I just added a bit of thin lube to the bearing and it worked just right for me after that.

I really did intend to get the V8 and V10 to be my beater yoyos but ended up liking them too much to not treat as carefully as my more expensive monometals lol.

These make it hard to recommend anything else to beginners because the price crushes everything else, and the performance is at least on par with yoyos in the $20 to $40 range (and maybe some that are more expensive than that). I definitely take them over the $30 machined plastic yoyos unless someone specifically wants plastic.

Im not exactly the best player but im comparing them to all my other yoyos in that similar price range or a bit higher.

They are an amazing value for what you get. I would still suggest the k2 to just about anyone starting out with its ease of access and cost.

I have a y-03 hertz that was gifted to me and it plays incredibly well, smooth, plenty of spin time, good shape. Can’t really ask for more in a yo-yo that is meant to be played
