One small point I’d like to make. A few people in this thread have stated or alluded to the idea that making goods in China is always cheaper, and specifically VERY much cheaper. For the record, this is only true in some specific situations under specific conditions. “Made in China” doesn’t always mean cheaper, and these days there are quite a few industries where the cost is pretty much the same after you factor in shipping and duties.
