Shimming is adding shims to a yoyo. Shims are put in the bearing seat to make the bearing stick out farther and thus giving a wider gap.

How did you get rid of what Iā€™m assuming to be caps, just pull them out or paint over it?
I mostly ask because Iā€™ve heard a lot about the lyn fury but the aesthetics of it areā€¦ bad, the face and everything, not my style. lol :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks like he took them out. Probably using a suction cup.

So you can take them out. Awesome. I hate the look of those capsā€¦ Might go ahead and buy myself a lyn fury now. :smiley:
