Is there a way to make a finger loop that doesn’t use much string?
I feel that the way I do it uses up too much access length

All loops are not going to be too different, but I like to use a Bowline because it’s flat and holds well.

A simple overhand loop is the easiest and best. Just watch how big you make the loop and how much tail you leave.
