Looking for smaller throw

I’m looking for a smaller yoyo for my son. His Classic is a little big. Is there anything out there in the 53mm range that is very stable, good spin times, and not super quick? We have no preference on material. I would like to keep it under $50 but will entertain any suggestion. I’m wondering if something with side effects would be a good idea. I like the idea of being able to add weight so it tracks a little slower.

A little over $50, but the OD Y Factor is nice

Are we looking for responsive or unresponsive? Good options in either category.

Assuming you’re looking for unresponsive my favorite is the Werrd Minute.

If you’re looking for more of a responsive yo-yo I would suggest the YoYoFactory One or Velocity.

Also there are the yomega dash, maverick and ooch. The Minute,like said above, is a great throw! The YYO lava is great as well.
