Well the problem I had was I would land my finger in the center o the Horizon and it would get forced to the outside of the dimple causing the yoyo to wobble thus losing spin time.

It probably wasn’t completely horizontal. I have a feeling the horizon is only amazing if you’re really good at fingerspins.

I’m not going to get a horizon I don’t think. I’m going to be using an echo 2 with lateral caps.

Lateral caps are a nono
There has been an amendment to the rule to allow lateral caps. 
Logi, ultralights are fine. You’ll need a good aim though…

Based on the updated rules, I believe they are fine. But like the Valor or other “through hole” yoyos, you still have to land on that hole. 
Not easy. I’m going to have a hard enough time landing on the PRestige dimple, never mind a through hole!
I don’t think My valor can compete with lateral caps.

No. They do not.
If you land the through-hole again, it should still be competitive.
