I have a 2 week old koncave baring, and it started to make a raspy/grinding noise this morning, I assumed it needed more lube, So I put some on (YoyoJam thin lube), but it still makes the noise, so should I put on more lube to make the noise go away? Or is the baring just losing its quiet “new baring sound?”

Usually when a noise like this starts, it’s because something foreign got into the bearing (e.g. dirt, lint, etc). Lube may reduce the noise, but it likely won’t go away. The bearing probably needs to be cleaned. Search this forum for methods on how to clean a bearing. You can lube it after you clean it or just play with it dry (pros and cons to this). Good luck!
