What is that blue string? Tight and tidy looking!

Badwolfeco slicc blue lagoon Goldilocks.
I just put in a order for more last night. The slicc Goldilocks is my new go to for unresponsive.
I would prefer the dummy thick stuff but it can be a bit too bindy. We need super huge gaps so we can use super thick ropes.

The Magic Knot didn’t want to be magic anymore.
He fell in love with a fire bug.

I literally don’t know how this happened… The loopy end somehow ended up around the string… :man_shrugging:t2:

Anti-Knotty

Last night while stringing up a brand new string, I gave it a good stretch and this happened. Top Deck went flying into my record player and gave me a mini heart attack  (they’re both fine)

What string was it?

Kitty Fat. First time ever having an issue with them. Judging by how clean the break is, I think I just don’t know my own strength lol

It’s such a clean and super even break. It almost looks like the knot end was over the bearing and when stretched the knot pulled out.

Usually, I give the string a hard stretch before I put it on, then another stretch once it’s around the bearing before I tie the finger loop.

I feel I was a being a little overzealous with that second stretch, if I’m being honest.
