kickside problem

i have recently bought a kickside from yoyo expert and it was really good but when i try widen the gap with the adujustable gap it is still responsive

probaly because of the lube in the bearing or the oring but just play with it for like a day or two and it will turn unresponsive

but the problem is i put grease in the bearing could that be the problem

Yes, so mow it is going to be responsive for a while.
