so my mom says that she doesnt have thin lube like is sold here but she has jojoba(hohoba) oil that might work. do any of you know what this is and if it will work to make a yoyo completely unresponsive right now i have a velocity so an A sized bearing.
you’re better off going and getting some sewing machine oil.
Jojoba oil is a vegetable oil. Don’t use it. You want a silicone or petroleum based oil.
Jojoba has too many things that can gunk up the bearing. (Good ol’ Wikipedia says it’s waxy… not too good for a bearing.) I would run it dry and wait for sewing machine oil or trumpet valve oil if you can.
