They are toys, or even tools if you want to go that far. If they don’t have scratches, dings, dents or any other type of mark on them you aren’t using them to the full. Not saying to go out and abuse them, but by no means baby them.

Here is my Walter. There are only about 8-10 of them in this color. There are no scratches on it, only marks to show how much it’s loved 
It’s got more love marks on it now.
The real nightmare here is trying to untangle the strings after.

I like to keep my yoyos in good shape but I don’t lose my mind if I scratch one.
Hey Steve. I remember quite a few years ago on the ii boards you posted a picture of your Freehand Mg that was very well loved (aka beat to heck). This was when there were guys who would have sold their soul for one.
It was quite a hot thread as I recall.
