I did a hybrid from what i normally do with fixies. It has a glued in stainless steel axle but I also installed mr85 pads in it for the response.

The dark brown is normal filament, the light is linden tree wood filament (30% wood), the green is linden tree wood filament but I rubbed it with a green wood stain I had sitting around.

Glue is drying so can’t test them yet.

I was trying to as closely as possible mimic the original with the hollow sides but I think I could add some acorn shaped caps :thinking:

Made a render in delrin, it does look cool.

Another interesting idea is my shop can do Bakelite (like the stuff your grandpas radio is made of)
