Hey. Im Josh. I’m from Canada. Mt favourite yoyos are the 888x, gnarwhal and markmont next. I like to do sorta slower and more flowy tricks with a big finish to each combo. I’m pretty tall and skinny and have really lanky arms. I’m also left handed. My yoyo case is also my explorer bag.

first yoyo i bought myself online so thats why my username is that maybe in the future when i get really good and i have better yoyos i can look back and see what yoyo got me to that point. but i do have a question for anyone that can help me out
My yoyo is the north star if anyone else has this yoyo can you help me out i untwisted it to put the string on but now i think the screw in the middle of the yoyo is kind of shaky and the arrows that are on the yoyo arent lining up anymore and i cant get it to line up. Can someone tell me if i messed it up? Any advice will help. Thank You!!!
Hi, I’m 32 ànd just found out àbout yo-yoing à week àgo. there was this video, linked from some forum, I went ànd watched it, thought it was cool.
then I remember my son brought back what seemed like some decent yoyo last time he went to japan, so I àsked him if I could borrow it. Since then, it never left me, brought it @ work, went to train outside in my parking lot @ night so I don’t bother my wife with the noise (the yoyo turned out to be some sort of rebranded FAST 201)
So when I went on the internet to find videos ànd tutorials, I found àndré’s tutorials, I’ve tried some other tutorials but àndré’s were the best. So I figured I’d wiki him to figure out who he is, this is when I found out àbout yoyoexpert ànd now, well… here I àm.
àbout myself in general, I love to communicate, talk, write, play & compose music, take pictures, you name it. ànd I have to say I was completely àmazed by à few vids I’ve seen from YYN, to name them
- Zammy’s Moebius vid (please, please, someone tell me what music is playing on this vid)
- Wonderion
- SPYY gold vid
I loved the way they mixed together, music, pictures, yo-yoing ànd inspired me even more, now àll that I can think àbout is throw my yoyo, day in day out so some day, I’ll eventually become àble to express myself in that manner.
I went on this forum for general guidelines, I can not pretend to be àble to help ànyone so far, so I’ll be àsking à lot of questions.
What I like àbout Yo-Yoing?
The general feel, the way it makes me think ànd focus in order to control that spinning toy, the challenge it repraesents, the originality, the versatility, it just makes me feel good, forget àbout ànything else.
Other things that I like: cars & circuit driving (track driving, youngtimers/oldtimers/classics, car àrt cars), Video games, martial àrts, japan & japanese culture (I used to live there for à short while), thunderstorm chases ànd more
Things I dislike: TV (I don’t watch it, it’s been @ least 5 years), where the world’s going, lack of or bad communication, internet fighters, racism

my name is kiyo Ive been yoyoing for there months and currently my favorite yoyo is a rec rev no 9
haven’t introduced myself yet though ive been around for maybe a week. you can call me socks. im 22. professional poker player/video game enthusiest. i just recently got into yoyoing. its always been something that looked fun and interesting and i just finally decided to grab a few yoyos and start to just have some fun with it. i just got the velocity and protostar. both have been a challenge and a lot of fun. everyone here has been already helpful and really nice. glad to be here!

My Name’s Lee, I just got into yoyo-ing again for the first time since I was about 8 and the coca-cole spinners were all the rage, I’m a juggler and fire performer and currently just loving the yoyo, so much more portable than all my other toys, got a viper and a grind machine but looking to update soon to do more string tricks. I just wish I could get my grind machine to bind a fraction easier lol.

I do some yo-yoing now and then and certainly not really good at it yet. But then again I stopped doing “string sports” when I was about 13 and picked it up FIFTY (yup, you read it right! 50) years later. I tell my wife that I’m working on my 3rd childhood right now and having a blast!
This spin top forum is certainly lucky to have yophosis as a moderator, he has a wealth of experience and solid advice to share.

Ive have been yoyoing for about 6 years now, still even im might not be very good but i dont think so much about that, only fun and entertainment.
I was on norways got talent 2010 and came to the semifinal and i was happy and are now sponsored by a Norwegian company name Sune Sport & Games and are importing yoyos from Duncan.
So that might be the reason that i also have alot of duncans.
But i have alot of diffrent yoyos so if they are any questions about me or any of the yoyo stuff just ask me.
