I have only been to 1 Contest so far, and that was the VA States Yoyo Contest 2010, and I got 13th Place.
I have a Record of Eli Hops. My Record right now is 150 Eli Hops in a row, and I have a a Nickname that Ann Connolly made for me: “The Eli Hops Kid!”
I plan to make a lot of Youtube Videos, Compete in a lot more Contests, and be Sponsored by Yoyofactory!
Those are my Goals, and lets see if I can Achieve them!

My name is Evan, I have been Yo-Yoing for about a month and a week now. My favorite trick would have to be Gyroscopic Flop. My favorite Yo-Yo that I own is the Yoyofactory Tactic, my favorite that I don’t own would probably be the General-Yo HatTrick

hey all my name is sam and i am 11 and i started yoyoing 2 years ago quit and now i have started yoyoing again my favorite trick would be split the atom and i have a Duncan mosquito :-\ i just ordered a dark magic a couple days ago and it hasn’t come in yet. i found this website off of youtube watching andres videos. 
Woah! Welcome. I started with a mosquito too and then I bumped up to a dark magic. Tell me how you progress. And again, welcome to the forums.

I want to tank the forum for all the info given so far and Andre for being awesome, I had a messed up bearing in my 44 special and I was sent two replacements asap from yye, they have been patient with my orders as well having changed a genesis order to an undeniable edition after placing the order. YYE is great and the forum is as well.

My name is Rulon Doman. Currently 34 years old with a lovely wife and 3 little ones.
I have always liked yo-yos. My dad had introduced me to yo-yoing ever since I was a kid. My dad was good enough with a yo-yo that he was in the Guinness Book in the early 80s. However, he was an old school yo-yoer. All yo-yos back then had solid wooden or metal bars in the middle of them and bind returns didn’t exist. To give you an idea of what I used most my lifem my dads favorite yo-yo was the Duncan Wheels.
I have always be “ok” at yo-yoing. I recently found this website and it has really gotten me back into yo-yoing. I would like to give my personal thanks to Andre Boulay for making the site. My backgroud has given me a strong solid sleeper/breakaway and trapeze/braintwister that has sped me through all the intermediate and advanced tricks in a little over a month.
In April I got my hands on a Duncan Dragonfly and 100 yo-yo stings. 2 days later I got a Duncan Freehand, and not long after I landed a Duncan Metal Zero and a Dark Magic. Exactly 7 days after I got my Dark Magic I succeeded in breaking my 2 front teeth and got 6 stickes in my bottom lip from a bad bind. After fixing my teeth that made my Dark Magic my most expensive yo-yo at $415 ($45 for yo-yo + $200 dentist bill + $170 dollar urgent care bill). I now practice with a mouth gaurd. I lost my Dark Magic. I think my kids got a hold of it. So now I am currently sporting a Trinity with a Ceramic Koncave Ball Baring. Which I would like to say is a VERY nice yo-yo for moving into the expert level tricks.
I look forward working on my yo-yo tricks. Maybe someday I will even go to a competition.

I’m new, just ordered a 888, CAN’T WAIT. when i was a couple years younger i had a silicone recessed FHZ and thought i was so great. Yo-yoing has really advanced so i’m ready to get back into it. i think a new 888 will help me do that

So… here we go! I’m 28. I used to throw about 10 years ago [not very good]. My son came home with a yoyo one day that brought back a ton of memories. We’ve been throwing together ever since! Currently he’s throwing a Kickside and I’m using a Protostar.
