Introduce Yourself!

Everyone here is pretty nice

Except for some…

but most people are.
;D

Hi! My name is Joel. I haven’t picked up a yo-yo for about 16yrs, until… 3 days ago where vendors at my job handed out promotional yo-yo’s, which re-ignited my interest again. I am horrible at the moment, but i hope practice will change that. I happen to stumble on to yoyoexpert.com when i was searching for tricks.

Hope i can learn more and put my own style to tricks(or even find what my style is).

my name is adrian i am new to yoyos and yoyoing i have a dark magic yoyo and im tryin to learn som tricks and impress some people

hey, May name is dan and i live in KY. I throw two yoyos mainly YYJ HM and DM. I have been yoyoing for about 10 years but honestly only doing tricks and practicing for about 10 months now. since the discovery that i can do tricks i have found out that i love to yoyo and i often time mess up my tricks trying to watch them. I wanna take a sec to say the advice and learning i have gotten from this website is priceless thanks to all…

Hello!

I’m Jamie, I’m from North Yorkshire, UK, and currently live in Austin, TX, USA. I have been yo-yoing, or throwing, or playing, or whatever, for just under a year, and I’m having a blast. I’m certainly not at competition level yet, I seem to be a slow burner…Im no natural when it comes to tricks, but I do my best, and have fun with it. I suppose you could say that my skill level is ā€˜basic advanced’. I can do bits of tricks, and try to throw them all in together, for example, I can do a bit of a white budda, a bit of yuuki slack, a bit of and what…Thats fine with me, I shall go at my own pace, thankyou very much…I am the proud owner of a YYJ Dark Magic, and  YYF Boss, which I like equally. 1A and 5A is where its at for me.

I am also a musician, and have submitted my music for various yo-yo vids, for example, you know that sneek peek vid for the YYF 44? You heard the tune, right? That was me…
There ought to be a link just below for my reverbnation page, but if not, then here it is…

There’s loads of freebies here…

Anyway…More ramblings soon probably!

I am sorry you seem like your a big shot like your a show off. So that kinda makes me irate.

Like saying. O yea I did the music for this commerical I am the ****. I don’t need anyone cause I do my tricks at what ever pace I want thank you very much.

I just felt your post was rude and I did not like it.

Hi everyone! Well I’m a spanish guy that have just started with yoyoing, all the tricks i learn come from this page so i though why don’t register to the forum? ;D I have the [YO]2 dark gem and triple action, maybe they aren’t very good yo-yos but here you can only buy nice yo-yos in online shops, but here i am, learning and granted of meet you all

Oh, for crying out loud…Whats bigshot about pointing out ones capabilities, or in my case, lack of capabilities? Im a slow learner, and i’m comfy with that and was merely pointing it out. If I was a show off, I would be posting vids left, right and center, with a title of ā€˜Look at me, I’m wonderful’. I do not do that.
And, yes, I did point out that I provided music for a YYF vid. So what? Im proud to have it on there, and am most grateful to YYF for putting it on there in the first place.

I was onlyl trying to introduce myself, what I do, and where I’m at. I do not claim to be better than anyone else, nor do I claim ā€˜not to need anybody’.
I
Behave yourself mate…

I thought that your music is pretty awesome, and to have it on a YYF video is awesome. Have fun on the forums.

Okay, bubba, calm your butt down. I saw nothing in his post that led me to believe he was full of himself. Leave you own insecurities off the internet. I like this guy, he has good music.

On a lighter note, I am now using ā€œLook at me, I am so wonderfulā€ as a name for a video.

Thank you Mr. Bear!

Thankyou Q! I am now happy and laughing, rather than cross and swearing.

Happy to help

haha?

What up I go by jim or james whatever you prefer. Werd anyways I have been throwing for about 4-5 years now, and I am starting to hit something of a snag. I hope to get a lot more improvement in the summer. Just out of curiosity any body know how a guy can learn to yoyo in Salt Lake. Despite a lack of serious skill I am something of a yoyo collector. If you want to know about a yoyo in the under 20 bucks range there’s a 50/50 chance I can tell you about it. My personal favorites are my die nasty by yoyo factory, I still like the kickside and lynn furry. I usually love just dinken around with most any yoyo my only dislikes are a few yomega’s and my duncan all metal. (With duncan it wasn’t due to how it performed it was because that sucker broke in about a week >:() I am also some what nestalgic in that I really like buzz on yoyos which as of late haven’t been on the market.
but enough about that my favorite tricks are the crowd pleasers like eli hops. in fact eli hops are my absolute favorite come to think of it. Easy trick, but my friends love it whenever I bust out a yoyo and do it.

Buzz-on industries was actually shut down by YYJ. Buzz-on industries produced the Dv8, a metal rimmed yoyo, a characteristic usually seen on YYJ yoyos. YYJ’s patent was a yoyo can’t have a material on the rim that is denser than the yoyos structure… something along the lines of that. Buzz-on has been shut down for 5 years now.

Welcome Buddy Jim! You seem much nicer than that other bear guy who is mr. nasty.

Hello Buddy Jim!

Im actually a really nice bloke, once you get to know me…
