Hello i am tim i am from the netherlands so sorry for my bad english.
I yoyo since a short time and i have a yomega saber wing.
Is this a good beginners yoyo?
good bye

hey tim. about the saber raider, ive never played one, but it’s responsive, right? if you want to get good at unresponsive play, and know how to bind, you could start with somthing like a lyn fury or a FHZ. and welcome to YYX man

Heya

Im Benjy
Got my first YoYo today (Duncan Butterfly)

Hey, I’m yoyoaddict417. I started yo-yoing almost five years ago, but I got out of it for a while. Recently, I bought a Duncan Mosquito (which is currently my favorite, because it’s the best yo-yo I own), and got back into yo-yoing. The videos here on YoYoExpert have helped me tremendously. Right now I’m working on the intermediate level tricks. Soon, I’ll probably be looking into getting a yo-yo that sleeps longer than my Mosquito, as it will help me out with the more advanced tricks. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Probably a lyn fury or kicksided, welcome to Yoyoexpert

Well, I have been lurking around here for a while, and I figured it is time to finally introduce myself. My name is Mike. I have been yo-yoing since college. I started with a few Duncan Imperials and a bumblebee. Then I picked up a Cherry Bomb by Team Losi. I thought that this yo-yo was great at the time. I loved playing with it, but I wasn’t really learning many tricks. The best I ever did was a a brain-twister. Fast forward to a few months ago. I am a teacher and we had a yo-yo guy come out to our school to teach the students a little about yo-yos. He taught them a few basic tricks, and this inspired me to get my old Cherry-bomb out once again. I was having fun teaching my students a few more tricks, and I was looking online to see what other tricks I could learn to teach them. I then found out just how far yo-yos have come in the past few years. I picked up a Dark Magic, and I love it. I don’t have a ton of time to practice, but I am starting to learn a lot of tricks that I never would have dreamed of learning. My students are getting more and more into yo-yos too. I picked up a Lyn Fury and a Die Nasty for my classroom, so the students could try something a little more advanced than the Bumblebees that most of them have. This hobby is a lot of fun, and even more fun when I can share it with my students. (I can’t wait until I teach physical science next year. I will definitely be working the yo-yo into many classes.)

dang, wish i had a class that fun :o

Hey, welcome to YYE! If you have any questions feel free to ask just about anyone here. We are glad to help.

Hello there from Spain! I’m Alfredo Mascali, born in Argentina and living in Madrid right now. I have been around yoyos for a couple years, and i love playing and collecting them. I have also a blog, the only one spanish yoyo blog I know, and have been choosen president of the Spanish National Yoyo Association recently.

My favourite yoyos are YYF GM2 and Hspin NVx, but I have a great collection (more than 50 yoyos right now and growing…).

See you all in the boards!!!

Hi everyone,

I got the yoyo bug when my son had some folks come and do a short demo at his school. Bought a duncan with a bearing, then went nuts. In a bit over a month I have an 888 current version, Hatrick, Punchline, darkmagic. been having a blast. Already can do the plastic whip, drop in the bucket, split the atom, brain twister… Not perfect everytime but having fun learning.
