My name is Ivan, I’ve been yoyoing since ~2003 (or 2002?), but didn’t land the trapeze until 2006 ;D I have an fetish for cheapish plastics (like SW Phantom and Fast 201) and how far can I go with them. In terms of modern yoyoing, I don’t consider myself to be very good. To be honest, I don’t really care. I progress slowly in my own rhythm, and that’s cool by me.
I don’t tend to post too much because I’m kinda busy working, studying, reading comic books (lol) and throwing… but I’ll try to help everyone as much as I can, and try not to ask stupid questions…
It’s really cool to see throwers from so many county’s. I guess nobody can resist Andre’s charm (this is his store, right?). I already heard rumors about how good customer support is here, and this is so typical for him.
Hello, my name is kevin, i have a lyn fury and i hope i can get my favorite yoyo, superstar…i get this website from my friends that play yoyo too, very sorry if my english is very bad, i’m still learning…hahahaha
Decided I wanted to be a yo yo er.
Don’t know many tricks yet but as I get better I will learn.
The only yo yo I have is just one of those cheap dollar store ones but it seems to be well built cause I can do better with it than a butterfly.

Hey. My name is Wesley. I DO NOT own the site www.yoyospirit.com. I made up this name before I found out. My favorite yoyo shop so far is www.yoyoexpert.com. My favorite yoyos are the 888 and the DM. I prefer my DM over the 888 but since it broke, I’ll have to live with the 888. I started when I was 8 and now I’m 11. I have been yoyoing for 3 years but the reason I not so good is because I didn’t get into unresponsive play till my 11th birthday when I got the DM.
Sup. my names Connor, I’m 13, and i have been yoyoing for about 6 months now and am pretty good. my play styles are 1a, 2a, 4a, and 5a. for 1a and 5a i use yyf genesis, for 2a loop 720s, and for 4a a duncan hyabusa SL
Hello, my name is Eric. I’m 13 and I’ve been throwing since I was 8. My dad got me started with the basics on a Yomega Hyperwarp and all I did was the classics: sleeper, walk the dog, rock the baby, and around the world. I would pick it up every once in a while but never knew what could be done with it. Then my dad was watching a yoyo competition video on Youtube about 9 months ago and showed it to me. I was immediately inspired. All I wanted to do was learn those tricks. I asked my dad if he had any butterfly style yoyo I could have to learn with. He gave me a Hyperwarp Heavywing. After that he showed me Yoyo Expert and the learning section. Then we bought a Dark Magic and a Hitman to start me with some better gear. Dad kept the Dark Magic for himself… but I got one shortly after. Over the next few months I learned most of the tricks on Yoyo Expert up to Master.
Now I want to meet others that I can learn from. I also want to start competing but don’t know how to get started.
:
heya my names alec im 12 years old. i first learned about yoyoing when my brothers friend came over and brought his xconvict and dark magic over. he let me use the dark magic(great yoyo) and i was the first person hed met who actually could make his yo-yo come back. he said i was learning fast because i learned bind reaturn in like 10 min and trapeze in less. he let me borrow the dark magic and said i should buy the speed dial(i have now its great!). i did and now im pretty good. i am asking for a lunatic for x-mas this year(my first choice was the campfire but its out of stock). so ever since i have been addicted to yoyoing. my yoyos are the speed dial and the speed beetle.
Hi, my name is Chris and I am currently 13 years old. Being new to highschool, I lost track of all my old hobbies and eventually abandoned them in the pursuit for grades. It wasn’t until I found my first yoyo and my second one (bought in summer 2008) that my preferance for them reignited. Back when I was about 6 in Hong Kong, a chinese dubbed anime about Yo-yos had all the children hooked. Being one of the norm, I eventually persuaded my parents to buy me one. The yoyo was strange as I recall it now: It was an imperial shaped yoyo with starburst response, yet its trans-axle bearing was made of wood and eventually broke due to its friction with the caps. Later, I bought another yoyo by the same company, Auldey. That yoyo was called Polar Wolf, and is sitting by my desk right now; waiting to be replaced by my soon to be X-Convict. Polar Wolf was, like most asain yoyos, was a trans axle starbusrt release yoyo with a clutch mechanism. I first experienced some form of sleeping when i did the only two looping tricks i knew of : hop the fence and around the world. Later, I found out about yoyoexpert.com in a desperate attempt to learn. My favorite trick is Tidal Wave as I view it as a gateway between sleeping and looping. Now, I have ordered my X-Convict, and is waiting for it to arrive as my Polar Wolf is incapable of holding a Trapeze/Man on Trapeze/ W/e u wanna call it.
