55 years old with 40 years flying every kind of remote control aircraft you can think of. saw a contest on tv a few months ago, bought a mosquito at wal-mart last week and my first lesson was strings can break and you should not practice in front of the 46inch lcd. yo-yo missed tv by inches and i’m hooked. will be ordering dark magic, thick lube, and 100 string pack this week unless someone can give me a reason to purchase different yo-yo setup… hope to impress the grandkids by spring… will be checking in for help often grandparock

Hey Everyone. I’m fil. I just started yoyoing about a month and a half ago. I used to do it when i was younger and my friends got back into it so i decided to join them. My friends introduced me to the website and i bought my YYJ Legacy from here. Still a noob, but workin hard lol. So yea i look forward to getting back into yoyoing and getting advice from all you pros out there.
Hello everyone, Im Doeboyonastring, and I started yoyoing when i was 6 years old, dropped it for lack of interest through my elementary school years and restarted in middle school after seeing a classmate doing yoyo tricks.
I currently right now have some assorted beginning yoyos, a DM, yyj lyn fury, and a yyj Kos. Im now 14 years old and don’t know my skill level. My favorite yoyo right now is the yyj Kos. (I like how it is so smooth.) Im in Sunnyvale, CA, USA. Hopefully I can find more people closer to me that yo yo too. Plan to learn some helpful tips from this site and master the tricks.

Ok I’m in the market for a yoyo and don’t have a clue as to what to get. I’m willing to spend a bit for one but really need some suggestions. Lunatic g5 MVP and vendetta were some that I picked. Are any of these good?! Please any suggestions would be great. Thanks
i would suggest the lunatic but if you want to get an mvp you can get that or the c13 which is similar
the g5 is also great if you want an h-shape yoyo so it all comes down to which shape you like better

heyy guys, I am Anthony nd im 12…My first yoyo was a yomega x-brain that i got from my brother. I always liked yoyoing but about a year ago i was watching my cousin do tricks with his yoyo and i just thought “i want to do that” and that is when i became obsessed. with that x-brain i learned everything up to double or nothing. tht is when i ordered my PGM and my DM with those i am up to Expert 2 nd i have only been yoyoing for about 2 months. I just ordered an 888x and am so excited. that is really everything. Thanks guys ;D

Hey everyone! My name is Louay (pronounced Louie) and I got my first yo-yo about 3 years ago. Now, I got back to yo-yoing by getting a Duncan Dragonfly, my second, and favorite, yo-yo. Its response is great, sleep time is perfect (at least for me, I'm 11 years old), and it looks pretty cool 8) . So this is the yo-yo that I would recommend for intermediate players. Bye for now :D.

My name is Stas, I’m 26 years old and now live in Kazakhstan, Almaty. I have started to play yo-yo about one year ago. My first yo-yo was YoYoJam Speedmaker and my second is Meteor. Since there aren’t many players here, I’m looking for any ways to improve my skills and I found this site is great “yo-yo school”.
Also I’m studying Aikido, which helps me much with yo-yo, cause it uses some same principles.
