Hello I’m Tolga.I was born in the US but I moved to Turkey.I’m yoyoing since 4 months.I first started with Auldey yoyo’s.They are not popular in the US.For example the L3 is a Auldey yoyo.I used a
Speed Evil,Speed Eagle and a Virus from Auldey.I’m using a Dark Magic now.I have a Hitman,Pyro Light and 888 Splash.My next targets are to make a yoyo case for my self and finishing Advanced 1.I have broken my Hitman whwn i tryed to color it with sprey paint.

Hey guy, my names brandon and i’ve been yoyoing on and off for a few years now.
Im 15 and my fav yoyos would have to be my (very beat up) DM and my meteor. Im looking for new looper yoyos cuase the speed beetles just are horrible for 2handed cuase they are so unreliable with the frictions sticker thing going.
My favorite tricks would have to be 4A and 5A, and I really like (attempting) double loops.

Hey guys. My name is Ryan. I have a dark magic and I am learning Advanced yoyo tricks. I have finished the Beginner and Intermediate sections on the site and I can do 4 advanced tricks. My style of play is certainly 1A. I started yoyoing about a month or so ago when my PE teacher lent me a yoyo. I got good, learned some cool tricks, and bought a Dark Magic. However, I want a new yoyo for the tougher tricks to come. Here are three I really like: DNA, 888, Superstar. Which one should I get? What are the pros and cons? What yoyo is best for what style (whips, string tricks)? Any help would be great!

Just wanna say hi.

I haven’t picked up a yoyo since about 1994 when I went to Uni…then my wife gives me a cheap promo one with a fixed axle 4 days ago…that I messed around with for a day or so. I still had it…(lol)…can do all the sick tricks I used to know…the very impressive ones like, walk the dog, rock the baby and around the world.

So I decided to check out youtube to find more tricks. Turns out yoyos have evolved since 1994…substantially!!! I am blown away!

I HAD to check out the new hardware.

I bought the following…they are all on order. Before I found this site I got a Duncan freehand zero, then decided I needed an imperial so grabbed a Duncan Dragonfly. I also snagged a good deal with 14 yoyos and a case on ebay…(2 duncans (imperials) and 3 yomegas (brain, fireball and saberwing). So I should be good to start out.

After watching all the tuts here (/hands Andre a cold beer //thanks man), I HAD to get a Dark Magic…those suckers are hard to find, but I finally found a site that wasnt “out of stock”…wanted Orange but Dark Blue looked cool, and colour is secondary to me.

Needless to say I am pretty pumped, and my wife is pretty sick of hearing the word yoyo…thats just my quick story of going all-in in 4 days. haha.

BTW, if anyone has computer or IT questions…just let me know…I am more than willing to help. I think I am going to start selling yoyos at my store as well, I live in a town of 8k and couldn’t find one trans axle or a ballbearing yoyo in 2 towns (/sad).

Again, thanks to Andre for the videos here…well done and easy as hell to follow. Thanks for the hard work, greatly appreciated by this beginner.

I live in Hong Kong which is not really a good place to keep in touch with the yoyo happenings.
Thanks to some guy on this forums"Dryoyo",I got my first yoyo Speeder by yoyojam.
and umm I know french,english(Duhhh!),and Chinese
which means that I’m not a Chinese.
I like french because its sooo easy but I and my class dreads the boring lesson and teacher.

Sweet, Hi Speeder! Yeah, I thought the China and Hong Kong area has a huge yo-yo boom thanks to Blazing Teens. Oh well, a lot can change in a year.

BTW: I am a mainlander but I was raised in Hong Kong.

BBTW: Usually HK people can understand Mandarin but not speak it and Usually Speak Cantonese. A French class, first time I heard of it there.

Actually, we know both. Well at least most of us. I have a Hong Kong decent but I am from Canada. Also, I have been to Hong Kong and there are absolutely no good yoyos that I could find.

Well, most people that I know that immigrated from HK can only understand Mandarin but can speak and understand Cantonese.

Example is my Dad: From HK.

Like I said, Mainlander born but raised in HK. Don’t have this ability.

actually I am not a Mainlander,not a guy from America,Singapore,Japan,korea(south), or whatever I am an Indian who lives in hong kong but people mistake me for a european and all of them say I look like harry potter so now you know how I look like and I don’t kow chinese that good
