Introduce Yourself!

Hello my name is Chris I have a 888x silver metal yoyo, a red dash, a purple dark angel. I always play with them and learn lots of tricks all the time. I started to play with yoyo’s in 7th grade. I am wishing one day I could win a contest and be the best yoyo person ever. My favorite color is red and yellow. I hoping to meet lots of new friends. ;D

helloooo

Welcome everyone!

I hope you find this Forum to be friendly and helpful.

Hi my name is John. I like to yoyo and am working on getting into more advanced string tricks. It’s a great distraction from my job and my personal problems. I have a Dragon Fly and kind of hate it. I like my mosquito a bit better because the action seems to be more reliable and I’m working on getting better at binding (getting better each day). I’m looking for something new; something that is unresponsive but has a bit better action. I actually think the dragon fly may be using some sort of cork to create the action and it seems very uneven (I’m a material scientist and actually think that all the technology involved in creating these amazing yoyo’s is really cool). Oh well enough for now.

Welcome and if you want to get something unresponsive I would suggest the YYJ Prelude but if you get one make sure to pick up a regular sized C bearing with it because it only comes with a slim bearing.

Hi there! I joined the forums a couple of weeks ago but haven’t yet actually posted anything, (have bought something though). I’m 15 years old and I got my first proper yoyos last Christmas, (the one I had before was a wooden one I bought in a gift shop - the string was glued to the axle!). I bought my Dark Magic II (my baby) at the end of January and it’s still my main throw (until my 888 arrives from across the pond - (I’m British)). I’m currently working on advanced and some expert tricks but I still can’t nail Boing-E-Boing. :stuck_out_tongue:

My name is James and I’m 15. I’m currently learning the master section of tricks I started yoyoing Back in September late August just because it looked awesome My first official yoyo was a yyf velocity but bought a yyf boss this January and I found out about YoYo Expert while searching for yoyos

Hey guys, I’m Ciara and I only started really getting in to yoyoing last Monday. I have a Dark magic yoyo and I gotta say, I love it. I just ordered a Neon PGM though
Anyway’s check out my first video:

Welcome. Check your string tension, and check it often. Start learning unresponsive play as soon as possible. Other than that, yoyo your heart out!

Dude we don’t want her to die!  ;).

When you begin you are supposed to start with a responsive yo-yo…

Well I can already bind and would prefer to use an unresponsive. I’ve asked around however and have been told the PGM is unresponsive so I’ll use both the Dark Magic and PGM for learning.

Be nice to see another person from the UK around here…

Hello all; my name is Yitzy and i’m in elementary school. Im working my way up every day and plan on performing at my brothers wedding. I currently use a Magic Yoyo Magistrate and plan on upgrading pretty soon. My favorite style of tricks are grinds and whips. Hello my name is Tristan. I am a noob at yoyoing and if anybody knows of some yoyo clubs in garland Texas let me know ;D

You’re near the heart of Texas, but it’s still nice to see a texas thrower. I used to live In Copperas Cove, now I’m in SA…Good to see more Texans, like I said. Welcome aboard.

Hello, my name is Corey, and I’ve been Yo-Yoing for a few months now. Me and my friend started a while back when another one of my church friends brought a yoyo to a retreat, right away i was fascinated and asked to try it, i soon learned it was extremely fun and decided to get my own yoyo and so did my friend. on the day back i asked him where i should get a yoyo and he told me to get it from yoyoexpert.com. Right when i got home i went to this site and bought my very first unresponsive and modern yoyo which was a neon orange grind machine, i know own 3 yoyos a super g, grind machine, and a code 2( which ill hopefuly get back in a few days from someone). Yoyoing is such a fun, and easy way to relieve stress and meet new people and i am so glad that i found out about this. But if it wasn’t for your tutorials and my friends help i wouldnt be yoyoing today! so thats my introduction. ;D

Well welcome. C=
